On April 24, the entire LFO staff travelled to Fornebu to discover the school’s future premises, two school years ahead of the planned move in 2028.
During the afternoon visit, staff members had the opportunity to explore the building in its current state, before the major renovations that will gradually transform it into a school. The teams also enjoyed the outdoor spaces and shared a picnic in the garden under beautiful spring sunshine. Some even took the opportunity to swim in the fjord located just beside the site!
Throughout the visit, first impressions were very positive: spaces described as “very bright” and “spacious”, along with outdoor surroundings considered “magnificent”.
This concrete glimpse into the future LFO marks another important milestone for the LFO28 project. Little by little, the outlines of our future school are becoming clearer, and excitement is growing among staff members at the idea of bringing this new place to life in the years ahead.
