Visit of the future school last Sunday

On Sunday, 6 September, around 50 members of the LFO community visited the future school site at Fornebu.
The weather was wonderful, and the visit had a warm and positive atmosphere. Families had the opportunity to explore the area and learn more about the future school location.

Representatives of the Board and school administration guided visitors around the site and answered questions about the future entrances, playground area and gym building. The interior of the building was not available to visit on this occasion, but we plan to organise another visit during the school year when families can see the inside of the future school.

The site is still being developed. The existing building will be transformed into a school building, and the current parking area will become a dedicated playground and outdoor area. The necessary planning and adaptation work is ongoing, so the final school environment will look different from what visitors saw during this visit. Once the process has been finalised, we hope to share illustrations of the playground and interior areas with the community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We appreciated the many constructive discussions and questions raised during the visit. We will update the LFO28 FAQ to include the new questions and make the answers available to the wider community.
We look forward to welcoming families back to Fornebu for another visit later in the school year!
